Chapter 227

Waterloo, IA - The John Livingston Chapter

EAA Chapter 227 Mel Kubicek Memorial Aviation Scholarship

Mel Kubicek was an avid and longtime member of Chapter 227, an active Young Eagle pilot and an encouraging Flight Instructor.  After his tragic death his familly gave a very generous gift to the Chapter.  This gift was to be designated as a scholarship fund solely for the training of young pilots in pursuit of their private pilot's license or for additional certificates and or ratings.  In addition several other chapter members have chosen to contribute their dollars as well.  We are grateful and are always willing to receive additional contributions to allow this fund to grow and be used well into the future.
